The Food

Our chefs, cooks, bakers, and food service managers are committed professionals who “cook with love” and the food at COEC is some of the best in the business! Our kitchen staff are dedicated to producing nutritious, high quality meals from fresh ingredients for our entire community.

Depending on your role or the time of year, you may eat some or all of your meals with other community members as part of your compensation package. Leftovers from our program are often available to take home to minimize food waste and to share with your family.

Our kitchens accommodate most special dietary needs, but there are some limitations - so please speak directly with your supervisor if you have questions or concerns. COEC is considered a “nut aware” facility, and the High Trails Kitchen specifically is “nut free” during the HTOEC program.
