Laundry Job Description
Our laundry and cleaning staff are crucial to helping create the overall experience for our campers and staff and as such are highly valued. Sanborn is a fun, fast-paced, energetic place to work - we value efficiency, teamwork and excellence in all we do. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
What Are We Looking For?
Minimum qualifications, education, and experience.

- All COEC Employees must pass a background check.
Physical & other Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30lbs - 50lbs
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to push and pull laundry bins
Job Benefits
-Salary starting at $14.81 - $16.00/hour

Laundry Staff Job Responsibilities
- Deliver laundry to and from the camps to the onsite laundry facility.
- Wash, dry, and fold camper, staff, health center, and kitchen laundry.
- Keep laundry sorted by cabins/units.
- Clean machines and laundry facilities as needed.
- Clean cabins prior to opening of camp for the summer and at the end of the summer camp season.
- Perform a variety of routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows, and polishing for certain buildings throughout the property.
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
- Report any necessary repairs. *Other duties as assigned.
