Dishwasher Job Description

Our dishwashers further the mission of Colorado Outdoor Education Center by providing a clean dishes, a clean and welcoming dining room, and excellent customer service. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

What Are We Looking For?

Minimum qualifications, education, and experience.

Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic and time management
Proven willingness to learn
Customer oriented and friendly
Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
Flexible Schedule including weekends

Physical & other Requirements:

Ability to spend all day on your feet
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to navigate over uneven terrain
All COEC Employees must pass a background check

Job Benefits

Salary starting at $14.81 - $15.50/hour (Adults) or $12.75 - $14.81/hour (Minors)
Lodging (if housed on site, salary will be reduced), meals, and laundry service
Meals while working when kitchens are open
1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.

Dishwasher Job Responsibilities

Essential:

Wash and sanitize all used dishes
Assist the cooks and prep cooks as needed
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen, sparkling dishware, and a tidy dining area

Other Duties:

Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers
Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Adhere to rules regarding health and safety, and be aware of any company-related practices
Perform any additional duties as assigned
