Mail Logistics Coordinator Job Description
Our mail coordinators further our mission by designing and implementing efficient and effective procedures to log, sort, and distribute mail across the organization. Our mail coordinators provide excellent customer service to camp families, parents, and staff. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

What Are We Looking For?
Minimum qualifications, education, and experience.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills - with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and track numerous ongoing projects
- All COEC Employees must pass a background check.
Physical & other Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30lbs repetitively
- Ability to twist and turn
- Walk on uneven terrain
- Work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, including rain and heat
Job Benefits

Mail Logistics Coordinator Job Responsibilities
Essential:
- 5x/week: retrieve mail from local USPS facilities in Florissant, sort incoming mail, and deliver mail to final destinations around COEC property
- Review outgoing mail to ensure accurate postage and address
- Utilize appropriate infrastructure to post outgoing mail
- Develop and utilize a basic understanding of the CampMinder Database system
- Access, print, sort, and deliver digital mail for campers using CampMinder.
- Log all incoming USPS and FedEx packages, and deliver accordingly
- Operate camp vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Help with pre-camp office projects
- Support Shipping Days on closing days of camp to ship camper trunks/luggage home via UPS and FedEx.
- Answer SWC office phone, taking messages as necessary
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
Other Duties:
- Work with the office manager and camp directors/staff to complete office based projects
- Maintain a general knowledge of SWC programming and general events around COEC property in order to manage phone calls, direct delivery drivers, and greet guests
- Help troubleshoot and operate office technology equipment.
