Housekeeper Job Description

Our housekeepers further the mission of Colorado Outdoor Education Center by maintaining the cleanliness of the conference center environment and ensuring all spaces are neat and pleasant. Full Time and Part Time, Year Round and Seasonal Positions. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

• Flexible Schedule including weekends

Physical & other Requirements:

• Ability to spend all day on your feet
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to navigate over uneven terrain
• All COEC Employees must pass a background check

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities

Essential:

• Cleaning all areas of the conference center, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.
• Clean guest rooms and do touchups, wash laundry, make beds, empty trash
• Work with a team of housekeepers
• Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of the shift
• Report and return any guest property found in rooms

Other Duties:

• Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Minor painting or similar repairs when guest rooms are unoccupied
